I want a GPS for husband for Christmas, $75-$125, what are some good brands, and where can I find them?

GPS is a great gift to give your husband.  That is actually what I got my husband for Christmas last year.  I bought mine online through Best Buy and it was on sale.  He loves it and it does everything he needs.  You can upload new maps to it directly from your computer.  The one I would recommend and have seen worked so well for my husband is a Tom Tom.

It is a TomTom ONE XL Portable GPS.

The prices range from about $100.00-$250.00.  The one I would recommend in the price range you are looking for is a Garmin Nuvi 205 portable GPS that is comparable to the TomTom.  and priced for $109.99.
  
I really think for what you will need and to really surprise your husband for Christmas, the TomTom will just do that!  Remember, Walmart and Target also sell these products and you can always find a great deal right after Thanksgiving. I personally have this GPS system and love it. It gives great direction and so far, this is one of the best GPS systems I have for the price!

GPS systems are great little devices, especially when traveling. If you haven't heard of Newegg, you should sign up for their email subscription. The shipping cost is $1.99. And Garmin is a great brand known for great perfomance! Also, I highly advise not buying recertified/refurbished. You will have no way of knowing how outdated your maps are and will not be able to update them if needed. TomTom, does offer to update them the first 30 days, but only if you qualify and who knows if that will be the case? You also have to watch the Warranty loopholes that come with them as well.

If you have a FRY's store in your area, which is an electronic candy store for men! They have the TomTom ONE 125 GPS for $99.95. Store Locator here. The TomTom brand is also great, but a 2nd in comparison to Garmin!

Amazon has the TomTom ONE 130 for $98.98 and that includes free shipping. But you won't see that price until you click on the " see price in cart " link.

Target also has the TomTom XL 340 for $114.98 on clearance in some stores, so your mileage may vary. Original price is $229.99, but online the clearance price is $159.99. You can search their inventory here and the ASIN number for this specific model is B001VEJEGA. If it says available at a store near you, call and ask what the exact price is before running to the store, so you don't waste time and gas.

Garmin, and TomTom are the best GPS systems. Generally prices are lowest at places like Costco or Sam's Club. Best Buy and Walmart often have them on sale as well. 

It is very possible to find a GPS within your budget!  Many cell phones are now equipped with GPS Navigation built into them, so if he is also in need of a new cellphone, that might be the route to go to combine 2 devices into one! 

For standalone GPS systems, try the TomTom One 125 portable GPS with 3.5" Touch Screen which is sold at http://www.Walmart.com now for $98!  It may also be found in your local Wal-Mart store.  This model has over 262 reviews, over 4 star average rating out of 5 by users and is made by TomTom, one of the best brands available!
 

You might want to consider upping your budget a little to get one of the GPS systems that come out top in consumer reports, but there are still some good options in your price range. I have included all the options. You will want something that is easy to use so your husband will enjoy using it as opposed to be frustrated by it.
