I just got my Shark Navigator Vacuum, as I ordered it on line from Wal-Mart.When I opened it, the color was blue and not lavender. My guide manual has several model numbers on it. I don't know if this is a good model or not, an if I should keep it.I thought I was getting the one like on TV.

I did a little research on Bed, Bath and Beyond and on WalMart, and found out that these come in blue and in lavender.
Both descriptions are the same. The model number for the blue one is NV22T, while the lavendar one is NV22L. Since the numbers are the same model number, except for the last letter, that is probably a color designation.
Both are described as being "powered by Infinity Technology and 21 cyclones that never clog and never lose suction, the Shark Navigator cleans the last room as well as the first."
Your model number won't be necessarily listed in the owner's manual, but it's listed somewhere on your vacuum, probably near the engine or on the bottom of the unit.
It appears that these are the same vacuum, and you'll probably be just fine with it in blue, unless your heart was set on having a purple vacuum. However, please be aware that Bed, Bath and Beyond, Best Buy and most of the others are charging $199 for these vacuums, while WalMart's was less, at $159.
I would just give it a practice run. If you don't like its performance, WalMart has a very easy return policy.
The Shark Navigators get very good reviews from most people who have used them, except for a few complaints about the dirt cup size. It appears, though, that even if yours doesn't look like the one on TV, it is apparently the same model.

Comment by sf43935: Walmart offers blue.
I order through Walmart. Lavender # NV35226. This is a great unit and the customer service was great, but the unit's ergonomics need work. The cord lock on the handle is way too low and cord doesn't stay in place. The attachments fall off and the hose for doing yours stairs is too short. Turbo brush is not good either. Other than that, I like it.

The Sharp Navigator is a piece of trash. It's lightweight but falls over easily. When I took it out of the box I bumped it and it fell over breaking the canister list and had to order another one and they sent me something for the mop instead. When they finally sent me the right part I thought all was well. It seemed to such well but everytime I lifted the vacuum the bottom falls off. Each time I go to empty the canister the contents go into every part of the unit except the canister and the filter ends up being clogged and stops sucking. When we tried the pet attachment it seemed to work on the first couple of sofas then it stopped sucking and the contents then too were going into the unit and not the canister. End result, we called the company to return it and get our money back. You'd think if you over $300 for a vacuum cleaner you'd get the best on the market but it's literally a piece of trash.

I was reading the response on the blue and lavendar. There is a difference. The blue one doesn;t come with the power brush like the lavendar one to do the stairs. Be aware. I was searching as well and wondered why Walmart was so cheap. Hope this helps

If you got it from a store then thats good I ordered mine on the phone DOÂ NOTÂ DOÂ THISÂ because if you have any trouble with it , you will be forever getting your money back I have been fighting with them for over a month and still o money back I will never do buss. with this company again and would steer others away by something else because if or should I say when you have problems with it you will not get a refund for a very long time

I looked through the owners manual online it appears the N22xs come with more accessories than the one for sale at Walmart. It appears the Walmart variety does not come with the pet hair brush. Is this accurate?

First of all, this vacuum comes in two colors: lavender and blue. You go the lavender one, which is the same thing, so don't even worry. Lavender is a nicer, more calm color than blue anyways =).  Secondly, this vacuum is okay as far as vacuum quality. It's not all that powerful, but I assume you got it for the bagless feature? This is pretty cool, but if you want a really strong vacuum, you really have to go with dyson vacuum.  Good luck to you.  Â
