I am one of those people who has really thick hair and I could never find a flat iron that would seem to get my hair as strait as I would like it! There are a couple of irons that worked the best for me.
You can try the Instyler! It worked wonders on my hair. I could not believe how good it looked! I was skeptical at first but went ahead and gave it a try and I fell completely in love with it! I recommend it for people with all types of hair especially thick hair. These irons usually go for $100 but you can get Instyler Rotating Hot Iron">HERE for $89
My second choice is the Chi! Not as good as the Instyler but it IS better than any cheap on that you would get from the local stores. This iron did get my hair strait but with it being so thick it took a little longer than it would have with the instyler. All in all The Chi is an excellent product! Normally for $120 but you can get CHI 1" Ceramic Style Flat Iron by Farouk - Black/ Gold">HERE for $65
