I hear you on hating scrubbing the floors, so do I!! Especially hard to do with a 2 year old running behind me! Lucky for both of us, Birdwell makes a brush with a handle good for floor and carpet. 48" handle. The bristles are tampico and are attached to a wooden block, so VERY sturdy! Great price of only 8.49.

I included a few other options as well, but I think I am going to buy the Birdwell one myself after seeing it!
