Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is designed to visually match each environment in the 2007 film as well as the magic spells. In the Wii edition of the game, players must flick their Wii Remote to cast the initial spell and then maneuver the controller in different directions to produce several outcomes. For example, pushing the remote forward causes the enchanted item on-screen to be thrust away from the character.
