There are a lot of great netbooks out there, depending on your price range. You can purchase many netbooks at http://www.Bestbuy.com or your local Best Buy store. I have found that for one of the lowest price netbooks you can get, that the Asus Eee PC is one of the best! I own one of these myself and highly recommend it to any netbook buyer.
This netbook features wide-range wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) for connecting to the Web without wires. The 10.1" widescreen display and a built-in webcam are ideal for video chatting with friends and family.

I recommend a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3
Price: $369.00
Specifications:
Intel ATOM Processor N455 ( 1.66GHz 667MHz 512KB )
· Genuine Windows 7 Starter
· 10.1" SD 1024x600
· Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
· 1 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 667MHz
· 250GB 5400
Or if you don't want to spend so much on a netbook you could search ebay for a second hand Lenovo S10 / S10e. I have one of these, the specs are pretty much the same as the S10-3. ( 1.6 Ghz Processor, 160 Gb HDD, 1Gb RAM, 10.1' screen, 1.3 MP webcam. integrated video. )
