How to choose a bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding?

This is a very pretty dress but here would be some of my concerns if you are a larger size like myself.  I don't like a strapless dress if it shows any extra around where the dress is sleeveless in the back and the you woud want to wear some sort of girdle type thing under it to make it lay flat in front.  I don't think either would keep me from wearing it though because you can get a size big enough it can be fit to you and fix those two problems.  That is just something I always have to be very careful of.  I would say order from places that have good return policies so if you get it and hate it you can return it. 

Another one that I think would be very flattering is this A-line V-Neck Knee length Chiffon dress.  It is knee length and would be flattering on about any body type with the way it flows. 

One last dress that is very popular right now is the bubble hem skirts.  This strapless flat taffeta bubble hem dress I just seen on a bunch of bridesmaids and it was very flattering on all sizes too.
