Ebay has one selling for $199.95
for parts or to be fixed

Another auction has the dual deck selling for $845.00
This unit is in excellent cosmetic condition and seems to be in working order according to the following tests I performed:
Recording in Hi8 from a VHS

 1. Connection from the EVO-9700 to a JVC VHS Player via BNC and RCA connectors

 2. Connection from the EVO-9700 (out "recorder" deck) to a Sony TV

 3. Recording in Hi8 format (Maxell 8mm GX-MP blank cassette) 20 minutes of a movie played in the VHS. Successful test

 4. Ejection, Playing, Pausing, Rewinding and Fast Forwarding in the "Recorder" deck. Successful test, with the exception of the "Rewind"  function, which occasionally slowed down its speed or stopped during rewinding (worn belt gives bad traction)

 Copying an Hi8 cassette

 5. Connection from the EVO-9700 (out "player" deck) to a Sony TV

 6. Loading the previously recorded cassette into the "player" deck and a blank cassette ( Maxell 8mm GX-MP blank cassette) into the "recorder" deck

 7. Recording during 20 minutes. Successful test

 8. Ejection, Playing, Pausing, Rewinding and Fast Forwarding in the "Player" deck. Successful test
