hi im just planning to buy an xbox console does it need a memory card if dont does it have a hard drive please?

You can purchase an XBOX360 with a harddrive or you can buy one cheaper without a hard drive.
If you purchase a XBOX360 without the hard drive then you will need to purchase a hard drive or memory card separately because there is not much you can do without one if you really want to get the most out of your XBOX360 LIVE experience. I bought my XBOX 360 refurbished with a hardrive at Gamestop. They sell the 360 brand new or preownd and refurbished for less money. If you buy a hard drive separately its about $99 dollars. At gamestop you can get a 60GB hard drive with 3 months of XBOX live included with the harddrive for $99 dollars or you can get a preowned 120 GB for $99 dollars with out the 3 months of XBOX Live.
