Hi, I'm going to be a bit of a tough question asker. I'm looking for strong, durable, sort of stylish everday shoes. I've had Vans for two years, and they look like this: http://yfrog.com/8bcimg0002aj. I bought another pair of Vans a year ago and they already have toe holes. I don't know what I'm doing! My budget is $100 or less. Please, could someone help me with my dilemma of finding nice looking, durable shoes?

OK I hope I was able to find something here. I looked at your other shoe and I see the look you are going for. I highly recommend a Keds product. I am thinking the canvas of Vans may be too light for your needs so I am suggesting either a microfiber which breaths like a canvas but it way softer and tougher or a leather which will last a very long time and mold to your foot.
Bass is another excellent brand to consider and Easy Spirit is known for their comfort. So those are two other brands to consider.
