When trying to lose weight and eat healthier, make sure to add lots of salads and veggies. I like to slice raw vegetable very thin. I line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. I brush the veggies, such as eggplant, onions, peppers with a thin coating of olive oil and spices. Bake in the oven until soft. So delicous and low in calories and fat too.
If you are serious about changing your eating habits. which is what real weight loss is about. You need to do two things.
#1
Portion control. (You can eat everything, but you must limit the amount that you eat.)
#2
Move that body. The best way to do that is to do something fun. Like dancing (ZUMBA)
I like weight watchers. You MUST be concious of what you put in your mouth.Â
So strike the word DIET from your vocabulary. Eat for your health, cause your
HEALTH IS YOUR WEALTH!!!!!!
There are a ton of great recipes for the WW program. Check out your local library or better yet join a group and go to the meeting. YOU CAN DO IT!!

I'm right there with you! Love to cook, and cook healthfully! I have heard rave reviews of the South Beach series of books and foods, and know people who have done very well with them.
I have included a variety of books, that are diet oriented, and include many healthy recipes. You On A Diet, and The S Diet come with great ratings, not only for their programs, but the recipes as well. Bon Apetit' !
Have a great day! Thank you for using IMShopping!

There are some books with very healthy meals such as The Abs Diet, Miserly Moms is a fourth edition book written by a mom who have personal experience on living frugally and give great tips on about anything. She have some recipes in her book. Jillian Michaels and Gunnar Peterson's books are pretty good too since they are personal trainers and have some recipes. I hope this helps.
