Hoisin sauce, or Haixian Sauce, is a Chinese dipping sauce. The word Hoisin is a romanization of the Chinese word for seafood "海鮮" as pronounced in Cantonese.
Hoi Sin Sauce from Koon Chun, a classic Chinese dipping sauce from Hong Kong, and often used with Thai and Asian inspired dishes. Koon Chun brand is one preferred by chef's. This sauce is a very good quality product, provides thick paste, authentic flavor. It has been used in many Asian Restaurants. Ingredients; sugar, vinegar, soybean, water, salt, wheat flour, garlic, sesame seed, Chile, spices and artificial color. Net weight: 15 oz. Product of Hong Kong

Refrigerate after opening.
Shrimp with hoi sin sauce.
Stir-fry 1 tbsp minced garlic and 350g (12oz) shrimp for 2 min. Add 120g (4oz) each diced green and red bell pepper, 2 tbsp hoi sin sauce and 1 tbsp oyster flavoured sauce. Stir-fry for 1 min.
