what is the best foundation for a memory foam mattress?

Sleep Science has specifically engineered a foundation specifically for their memory foam matresses. It is a metal foundation that is easy ot install, along with being fire code compliant which is very important.

I know sometimes it seems like a better deal if you forego the foundation that comes with the mattess to save some money, but I would definitely avoid doing this. I sold matresses for many years, and in studying different companies they each design a specific foundation to meet the needs of their mattress. SO I would go sith the Sleep Scince foundation that is reccommended for the mattress you chose.

If you're looking for a something less expensive they even sell them at Costco!!

When I bought my Temperpedic Memory Foam mattress, the salesman told me that I would invalidate the warranty if I used any foundation other than the one they sell to match. The foundation was really reasonably priced...much less than box springs would have cost.

I love it, BTW...and recommend memory foam highly!
