Everyone talks about firewire and ilink but I have obtained a lead that connects to my camera and my laptop using USB! However all I need is the software to be able to import the videos. Any help will be amazing :)

Hello and thank you for contacting IMshopping.
Not sure what brand of camera you have but if you log on to the manufacturers website and look for the link that says support or downloads you should be able to download the software and drivers for your particular brand of camera that will allow you to import the videos from your camera to your computer.
Also, if you are using a windows based computer and your camera has a memory card, as soon as you hook up the camera via USB the computer will normally recognize it and you can just transfer the files to the computer without needing any software.
