The Presto Griddle has a rating avg of 4.8 out of 5 stars. Here are a few consumer ratings:
"This griddle is the best ever. Outstanding for pancakes, a whole breakfast, fresh vegetables or anything that can be grilled. The handles fold out and the griddle slopes down so grease is easy to remove. It can easily be wiped clean (non-stick surface) or even submersed. Great product."
"I use this mostly for breakfast (pancakes, french toast, bacon, eggs, etc.) and for toasted sandwiches. The only complaint I have about this is that the center doesn't heat up as well as the sides. When I put 9 pieces of french toast on the griddle I need to rearrange them several times so they all get a nice brown color on both sides."
"Griddle is slim, trim, light weight and easy to use. It's easy to store, light to move and the tilt feature is great for draining bacon grease and cleanup after use. This griddle is a great addition to any kitchen.
There are only a couple minor things to be aware of when using the product, first would be the size of the drain hole which has gotten clogged on cleanup. The other thing would be the evenness of the heating, there are a few hotspots but they have only been noticeable when cooking pancakes."
The Oster Griddle does not seem to be as good as the Presto! The avg rating is 3.4 out of 5 stars. Here are a couple consumer reviews:
Bought griddle yesterday. Using it this morning I went to pull out the warming tray for the first time and mistakenly grabbed the underneath lip of the front of the griddle, directly above warming tray. Burned three fingers VERY badly. Poor design, but very functional once you (and all your family members and guests) learn this lesson -- hopefully not the hard way like I did. Cooking surface itself is great size, seems to evenly heat, and is easy to clean."
"It's too wide to fit into the cupboard (should have just been longer but narrower).
It has hot spots and the pancakes are unevenly browned.
You have to tip it or chase the fat around to get it to drain into the little hold on the side.
It's so big it's hard to wash in the sink.
If I had extra money lying around I'd buy something else. I used to own a griddle that sat on the stove top but I have a "smooth top" range and I don't think you can use one of those on it."

"Bought an Oster griddle very similar to this one. Within a month the non stick cooking surface was flaking off. Now three months later we have an area the size of a dollar that is all flaked off...Horrible!!! I do not recommend these Oster griddles at all!!!"
After these ratings and reviews, the Presto is definately the better of the 2!
