I purchased the H20 Ultra steam mop recently and after vacuuming the floor I used the mop on my 12" tile bathroom floor and found it to be wonderful.  I one of those people who walks around the apartment barefoot most of the time and I cannot say enough about how clean the floor is.  Then I used the handheld on the tub, the shower tiles, the corners, the floorboards and the sink (all in the bathroom).  I live in an older apartment development and thought I'd cleaned these areas, but when I saw the dirt coming off of these areas, especially the gunk under the faucet, that I could not even see, I was astounded.  In most cases I found that drying immediately after steaming with paper towels or a cloth was easy and completed the job wonderfully.

A few days later I took the H20 Ultra to my friend's apartment.  She has a ceramic tile kitchen floor that she had used a mop and glow type product on for some time.  She was very unhappy with the way the floor looked and had purchased a chemical. wax stripper a few months prior to get the wax off and the floor still look dirty and spotty.  She filled the H20 and went over the floor and the steam began breaking down the wax buildup that she could not believe was still there after using the chemicals.  If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed it.  Then she did her baseboards and her bathroom and removed dirt she didn't even realize was there.  I showed her the carpet glider and she put it over a large spot on the carpet.  The spot was gone in seconds.  Needless to say she is going to get her own H20 Ulltra.

I am a senior citizen and have arthritis in my hands so I needed something lightweight and easy to use.  The H20 is both.  Also,  I don't put aside time to clean the entire apartment at one time...I sort of spot clean ... when I'm in the mood I do a room and stop.  Another time I'll do another section.  Today I took the hand held into the kitchen.  I did the stovetop, the oven door, the stove metal awning and the metal backsplash ...  I steamed it and wiped with paper towels.  I steamed the outside of the fridge, the dishwasher and the washing machine.  It was quick and these jobs were done with little effort on my part.  And let me state clearly that I am amazed at the way this product cleans.

I'd like to mention that I researched steam mops prior to purchasing the H20 Ultra.  I started with the internet and read every comment I could find.  I compared other products in stores and believe me I spoke to other women in the stores about steam mops.  One woman came up to me in a department store and asked if I was looking for a steam mop.  She told me she'd had several different products and returned them all and she recommended I get an H20 ultra.  A friend at work told me she had one and raved about it.   And here I am, raving about it too.

Now if I could only find out where/how to get the accessory kit, which I foolishly neglected to buy, I'd really be a happy camper.

One person's trash is another person's treasure. The H2O Mop Ultra fits this bill perfectly. I am not a fan of this particular mop but I also do not have a fondness for mops like this. In all fairness, its best that you hear why.

I have a large family with large messes and this mop is not made for large messes. This mop is not meant to be used with chemicals, nor is the washable cover able to handle a lot of messes. The steam takes a moment to leave your floor and if you leave it in one spot for a while, it can melt and release the seal in faux hardwood, vinyl,  and linoleum flooring.

This mop is best for a concrete floor and may work well for a floor with limited amounts of traffic. Do not throw away your traditional mop.
