I think you may need one if you are questioning the fact. How old is the fridge? Is it energy efficient? Does it have all working lights and keeping cold? Is it's electrical frayed? Does it have an odor that cannot be cleaned anymore? I think any yes to the questions above may lead to purchasing a new one. I recommend http://www.sears.com while the two day sale is going on. GE,Kenmore,Whirlpool-all great brands!
