Mini laptops or netbooks as they are commonly called are great for surfing the web. In fact, that was what they were designed for. Luckly many mainstream PC makers and joining the bandwagon and creating netbooks.

My personal favorite and the lowest price is the HP mini 110! It's small yet packs a whole lot of power. Though you should remember that as with all netbooks the processors are slower than with desktops or laptops.

The Dell Latitude and Toshiba Satellite 13.3" Notebook PC received the highest ratings in CNET for the latest notebooks available.   Lenovo and Compaq also received favorable reviews and are a bit less expensive.
