50$ may seem like alot for a straightner, but if you spend about100 you can get the best product money can buy. all HOT TOOLS products are the best and always have been it is way worth the money. its more efficient and last alot longer than any other youll find in the stores. always go with them.they have been around forever. you wont regret it i promise! and if you can get a licensed cosmetologist to go buy it from a local supply house it will be legit and not a knock off and also be a little cheaper.

Hi, I was looking for a good straightener around Christmas and stumbled upon a neat contraption for $19.99 at K-Mart. It is a hair dryer with a round brush attached to it. It blows hot or cool air at 2 different setttings. It does a great job of straightening my hair while giving it a great deal of shine and bounce unlike the dull limpness of a straightener. The brand is Revlon Ionic.
