I have always trusted Vtech, when it comes to cordless home phones. I don't know why, but I do know, that they've never given me a reason not to. Of course Uniden seems to be becoming more and more popular. Customers seem to be giving them pretty good reviews. It also depends on how many handsets your looking to buy. If you need numerous handsets, Uniden comes with four, and I'm pretty sure you can buy additional ones if you need them in the future.
