Considering purchasing the GE Profile PDWF400PCC dishwasher. Noticed the width of the unit is 24 inches. The space available in my base counter is exactly 24 inches. Don't know if the GE model will fit. Can you double check the unit for width size and advise your opinion as to if the dishwasher can successfully be installed into the base cabinet without modifying the cabinet space?

In all honesty, I don't want to make a judgement call with that one, if the item is 24" and the space you have for it is 24" exactly, it most likely will work, however i would give a call to GE to find out exact measurements or perhaps widen the space in order to know for sure weather or not it will fit.
