What kind of cell phone should I get for a new mom?

New moms have their hands full so their cell phone needs to help them stay in touch with ease and perhaps include some features that make "baby sharing" easier. An easy texting phone (qwerty) would be ideal. It's harder to text and get it right if you're tired! the text feature also allows her to stay in touch with out making noise if the little one is sleeping. Make sure it's bluetooth capable so both hands are free when taking, or making, calls.

A handy feature is a camera or short video capture. She'll probably have her phone with her all the time, but may not remember to reach for the camera to capture those baby pictures on the fly. A phone can be a true lifeline for a new mom...sharing exciting moments and reaching out for support, encouragement and advice.
