So what can you expect a food processor to do? Well they are great for kneading dough, slicing, chopping, shredding cheese, vegetables and meat, mincing garlic and parsley, mixing batters, and emulsifying mayonnaise. My two favorite appliances in my kitchen are my Cusinart Food Processor and my Kitchenaid Mixer. I once owned an off brand named food processor and it didn't last very long, before I was out looking for a better brand. I highly recommend the full size Cuisnart Pro. There is a mini version also for small jobs, but I very rarely pull mine out, it's just too small.Clean-up is a breeze, because all parts except the motor casing just pop into the dishwasher. You'll be looking for things to chop, dice and mix!
