A netbook is basically an extremely light and small laptop. They are not designed for games in mind. Anything you normally do on a desktop or laptop, you can do in a netbook. The downsides of a netbook is a slower CPU, low RAM, weak video card, and small screen. It's well suited for internet browsing. If your looking for just a gaming computer go with a desktop for sure.
