A number for stores are offering great Black Friday deals on DSLRs, particularly the Canon Rebel. The Rebel is a great starter DSLR and is what I started with. I recommend you stick to Nikon or Canon, their DSLRs are the best and they also have the widest choice of good quality lenses.
