I want a camera like the old Polaroid cameras that could print photos instantly. You can buy a new Polaroid camera that prints photos but the photos are smaller and not like the old square ones I like so much. Is it possible to buy an old, working one and film? Or are there other new cameras out there that aren't the Polaroid brand but print photos on the same kind of paper?

I went to Polaroid's website and found that they have digital cameras that print instantly (they look just like regular pics with no Polaroid looking border on there), but they also have their "Classic" line, which looks to me just like the old Polaroid pics. Check that one out and see if it might be what you want. Other than that, there are many old Polaroids and film available on eBay. That would be your best bet!
Also, I have seen a couple of websites that say that the Polaroid 600 (old style) film will work in these new cameras. I cannot verify that, so you might just want to email Polaroid's customer service and ask them if that is the case.

I was able to track down some vintage Polaroid cameras for you, and some film. One camera I suggest is the Polaroid One Step with Auto Focus, available on eBay. It is only $24.50, and uses 600 instant film. The camera has an attached neck strap, and has a built in flash.
MedShopExpress has Polaroid 600 Platinum Instant Film, ten pictures in each pack, for $15.74. Amazon also sells 600 film, but it is a lot more expensive.
