The $795 price tag from Insider appears steep at first glance but par for the course when buying from a retailer. Give or take $5 it's the same cost from other online and brick and mortar stores. You could investigate some ideas on making your own but this may end up costing you more in the long run. If you shop locally wait until your local bike store has a %-off coupon, and perhaps they would honor it on this.
Otherwise, here are a two Craigslist offerings. There were also individuals that posted in the "wanted" section that they would like to buy a set.

The only place i found to buy E-motion rollers is thru Inside Ride, Inc.. Unfortunately there is a 2 week backlog. Good news is E-motion rollers have the best reviews around.
