Most irons will work on silk with the right techniques. Make sure to turn your iron to a low heat setting and iron it inside out. This will prevent it from scorching. Even the most expensive iron will hang up on precious silk so prevent it with these tips. The best iron on the market, in my opinion, is the Rowenta DG5030 Pressure Iron and Steamer. It's Powerful vertical steam allows iron to be used in an upright position. It has Variable steam control- steam output levels can be adjusted according to fabric types.
