Hello and thank you for using IMshopping! I think cloth diapers are cheaper in the long run, well really agter a few months. I use disposable diapers and i am switching to cloth. I have a 3 month old and my brother has a 9 month old. He ordered the cloth diapers in bulk for $419 ( of course you wouldn't need to spend that much if you chose not to ) the cloth diapers are one size fits all and will adjust to size, the have inserts that you wash when they are dirty. You can even use cloth for potty training too. The cloth diapers he uses are bumgenius you can get them at http://www.bumgenius.com . A regular disposable diaper you would use 8-10 diapers a day. most packs ( depending on size , only have around 40-50 diapers per pack ) so if you buy a pack at $9.00 or a bulk box at $20 or $30 a box , then it won't last long at all, the box maybe 2 weeks tops. So if you buy 5 boxes a every 6 weeks thn you are already out $120 for disposable. So if you get cloth for a great price like $5 each then buy a bag of disposable every now and again then you will still save a ton of money. So if you do a yr of disposable ( boxes at $20 per box ) and buy a box every week then it will cost you $1040 a yr. Cloth diapers are cheaper even though you will pay more for the diapers, but you only pay once.
