A friend of mine is having twin boys and her mother in law is throwing her a baby shower, what would you recommend getting? Besides the obvious of clothes and diapers?

As an expectant mother I have been making a list of things a mom needs. There are so many little things no one ever things about.

Piggy banks make amaazing gifts for babies.. Got her a little bank for each boy and they can store all their lose change in them. The money adds up very fast trust me. My 10 month old already has $50.00

Another great item you can get her is a diaper stacker that goes with her theme. With twin boys she will need many diapers on hand and these diaper stackers are wonderful. They make the diapers very easy to get to.

First aid kits are always a good thing to have on hand, especially with 2 boys.

To be honest, the best presents that I ever got were gift cards. If you want to add a little personal touch, you could always add a small toy with it (or toys for your case). I would suggest a gift card to a local baby store and have it attached to a little stuffed animal or cute picture frame.

I personally would not have survived without a Sleepy Wrap. It keeps baby or babies nice and comfy and close to mama (or daddy) and allows parents to get tasks done at the same time. It's very simple to use and you really can't tie it wrong.

Congratulations on your friend's new additions. I do have some suggestions for you. I came across a couple websites, the first one being http://www.trendsintwos.com. They really have a great selection and variety of things for twins. Everything from clothing, bibs, diaper bags, strollers, ornaments etc. The second site I came across is http://www.twinzgear.com. Also, like trends in twos - they have  a great variety of gifts to choose from. I had added some products below for you. Happy Holidays!
