Thank you for your question.  The big difference between monochromatic stainless steel and stainless steel is the look.  Basically Monochromatic Stainless Steel and Stainless Steel are not different because of the steel. They are different because of their dispenser and body. The regular Stainless Steel models will have a black dispenser and body, while the Monochromatic models will have a gray dispenser and body.  Another thing I have heard it that Monochromatic doesn't show fingerprints as much and that is false.  Both show fingerprints about the same.
